Hi, my name is Cesar Mello and I'm a software developer from Porto Alegre, Brasil.
My two biggest passions are computer programming and my wife. Programming in pure object-oriented C++ is always thrilling and addictive,
but lately I've been programming in C# too and it's good for lots of programming tasks, specially combined with the
fantastic IDE support.
I have a nice full-time job in a company that makes tools for developing SCADA software.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. The areas I like most are
compilers and operating systems. I also enjoy implementing GUI toolkits and applications
using clean C++.
I implemented a simple GUI toolkit called lightforms in 2004, but I haven't
toched it for some years and it doesn't reflect my current taste about GUI toolkit design. Maybe I'll start a new GUI
toolkit soon, inspired by someW PF and Silverlight ideas (retained mode graphics?).
I also like Formula 1 and watching some movies and the LOST series.
